During my recent stay at Star Santorini, I found the hotel to be a commendable retreat away from the bustle of Thira. The family-run establishment is well-maintained, offering clean, spacious rooms that provided a sense of calm after a day of exploring. The seasonal outdoor pool, surrounded by sun loungers, was a pleasant area for unwinding, although I personally found the flat design a bit challenging due to my limited swimming skills. Nevertheless, I enjoyed relaxing in the pool area and the rejuvenating spa services available. Breakfast each morning featured a suitable variety of home-cooked options, perfect for starting the day before venturing to the nearby village of Megalochori. Conveniently located, it allowed easy access to local tavernas and the bus stop for exploring the island. Star Santorini offers a tranquil environment ideal for those seeking both relaxation and cultural immersion.
